According to Edward Hovhannisyan, Chairman of the RA State Revenue Committee, Armenia’s economy is precisely recovering.
“Judging by the data of the State Revenue Committee on the volume of trade turnover, yes, I state that the economy is precisely recovering, as the volume of turnover and taxes collected speak for itself,” Hovhannisyan told reporters at a briefing.
He spoke about the shadow in business, noting that it exists and will always exist. “There is even a permissible shadow circle, which is ‘effective’, it must exist,” Hovhannisyan stated. However, the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee did not specify how much the shadow is. According to him, the assessment works are still in process.
