On April 5, Arayik Harutyunyan, President of the Artsakh Republic received members of the ‘Mala Yezidi’ Yezidi National Movement, a joint Armenian-Yezidi volunteer detachment led by Ayser Isayan.
Harutyunyan stated that the friendship of the Armenian-Yezidi peoples has a history of centuries; the Yezidis have always been next to Armenia and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) in difficult situations. President Harutyunyan highlighted the contribution of the Yezidi community of Armenia in ensuring the security of the Homeland, expressing confidence that the cooperation will become even stronger and more comprehensive.
