On April 3, French representative to the European Parliament François-Xavier Bellamy, who visited Armenia, paid homage at the Armenian Genocide Memorial ‘Tsitsernakaberd’.
According to the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, Harutyun Marutyan Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute presented the story of the establishment of the memorial to the parliamentarian.
François-Xavier Bellamy laid flowers at the eternal fire and observed a minute of silence in memory of the victims.
The MP also visited the Armenian Genocide Museum and made a note in the Book of Honorary Guests.
At the end of the visit, Marutyan presented books in English and French to the French deputy.
