On April 3 2021, at 13:03 local time (09:03 GMT), the seismological network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia registered earthquake with geographical coordinates of 40.52⁰ north latitude and 45.32⁰ east longitude, in Armenia, 4 km north-east of Shorzha, 10 km deep, 1.9 magnitude.
The magnitude of the earthquake in the epicenter was 2-3 Richter scale.
It was felt in Shorzha village of Gegharkunik province with a two Richter scale.
