To ensure the free and safe movement of the population, the police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) are on 24-hour duty in interstate and interregional roads.
Officers of the Shosh Department of the Askeran Regional Police Department control the Stepanakert-Sarushen-Karmir Shuka road section. All cars and drivers’ IDs are checked.
The community of Shosh became frontier after the war. The residents returned being convinced that the Artsakh police guards the entrance of the village day and night.
