"We have to build a really strong, free, happy country. We must rebuild Armenia, rebuild Artsakh. However, in order to do that we must also look back at what we have done wrong over the last 30 years. After all, it is the 21st century and we go through villages where there is no evidence of prosperity as such”, said RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan at his visit to Myasnikyan community, Armavir province.
According to him, today 49% of arable lands in Armenia are not cultivated, and 74% have no irrigation water.
“Meanwhile, so much water is generated in our country every year that would not only meet our needs, but we would have a large surplus of water,” said the Prime Minister.
According to Pashinyan, the citizens of Armenia have made many sacrifices for the sake of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), for the sake of security, for the sake of the army; however, those sacrifices have not been used in such a way that Armenians do not face such a situation.
