From March 22 to March 26, 2021, the Humanitarian Demining Center Foundation found 75 pieces of ammunition in the area of Aygestan village, of which 16 large-caliber ammunition were destroyed, according to the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure of the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
Works carried out in Martuni region and in the city of Martakert. As a result, 3,045 pieces of ammunition were found in the territory of Martuni region, of which 24 pieces of large-caliber ammunition were destroyed, and 526 pieces of different types of projectiles and other ammunition were found in the city of Martakert.
Currently works are going on in Aygestan, Khnatsakh, Martakert region, Karmir Shuka village of Martuni region, as well as Verin and Nerkin Sznek of Askeran region.
As a result, since September 27, 2020, 477,039 different types of projectiles were found and destroyed in the territory of Artsakh.
Since November 22, 2020, the Humanitarian Demining Center has been carrying out demining works with the Demining Center of the Russian Federation, and since December 7, 2020 - together with the sapper group of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation.
