By the decision of the government, the three-month program of expenses compensation of the families temporarily hosting adult citizens, who lost their residential real estate due to destructions or other reasons in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), is extended.
Mesrop Arakelyan, Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, presenting the draft, reminded that the program has been functioning since December. It gives an opportunity to the citizens of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh, temporarily hosting people from Artsakh, to receive AMD 30,000 (about $57) of assistance per adult in the Republic of Armenia, and AMD 45,000 (more than $85) in the Republic of Artsakh.
“It is proposed to extend the program for another three months. About 3,000 hosts receive support monthly. They host about 7,000 adult citizens”, said Arakelyan.
