Russian Ambassador to Turkey Aleksey Yerkhov was summoned to the Turkish Foreign Ministry in connection with the aggravation of the situation in the Idlib de-escalation zone, the Hurriyet reports.
The Turkish Ministry of Defense blamed the Syrian army for the deaths of five civilians on Sunday in shelling of a hospital in non-Damascus-controlled territory in the Idlib de-escalation zone, as well as for an attack on a residential area and a parking lot of trucks in this zone.
According to the newspaper, Yerkhov was summoned to the Foreign Ministry, where he was expressed concern about the security problem arisen in the region due to the increased frequency of attacks.
