Saudi Arabia is seeking to buy armed UAVs from Turkey, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated during a meeting with Bosnia and Herzegovina President Milorad Dodik and other high-ranking officials in Ankara, ermenihaber reports.
During the press conference, Erdogan referred to the painful issue of Turkey - the joint military exercises of the Greek and Saudi Armed Forces, and once again expressed his dissatisfaction.
“Saudi Arabia is conducting joint exercises with Greece”, he said. “Yet at the same time, Saudi Arabia is asking us for military drones. Our hope is to solve this issue calmly without getting heated”.
Recently, Turkey-Saudi Arabia relations have been tense due to the brutal murder of “Washington Post” correspondent Jamal Khashoggi, carried out at the Saudi Arabian consulate in Istanbul.
