The Turkish Ministry of Defense accused Syria of attacking two settlements in Aleppo province under Ankara control, Anadolu agency reports.
According to the Turkish Ministry of Defense, the missiles launched from the Quayres airfield allegedly hit the cities of Jarablus and Al-Bab. Several civilians injured due to the explosion. Ankara has called on Russia to prevent such attacks.
Earlier, Syrian media reported that large fires broke out and a number of people were injured, because of new targeting of oil burners in the countryside of Aleppo Governorate, northwestern Syria.
