As reported earlier, Ara Ayvazyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, pay a visit to the United Arab Emirates.
Today, March 11, the talks between the Foreign Ministers of RA and UAE, Ara Ayvazyan and Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, planned.
In this regard, the MFA of Armenia presented a brief reference on the Armenian-Emirati relations.
“Armenia tends to strengthen and deepen high-level relations with the Gulf countries, in which the United Arab Emirates has a unique role. Both politically and economically, Armenia views the UAE as the strongest link between Armenia and the Arab countries of the Gulf. Armenia attaches great importance to the further development of cooperation with the United Arab Emirates in various fields, for which there is a serious potential”, the reference reads.
The reference also touches upon topics regarding the diplomatic relations between Armenia and the United Arab Emirates and the importance of strengthening economic, cultural, tourism and humanitarian ties between the two countries.
In reference, it is also noted that Armenia highly appreciates the humanitarian aid provided by the UAE authorities for fighting the COVID-19 pandemic. Moreover, the small but active Armenian community in the United Arab Emirates has contributed to the development of Armenian-Emirati ties.
