Thirty members of European Parliament, led by Costas Mavrides, Cyprus, Group of the Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European Parliament, sent a request to Josep Borrell, High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy on the issue of Armenian POWs and captives, held in Azerbaijan.
“In the face of crimes against humanity, we can’t remain silent. Together with my colleagues from differ. political parties & MS, call on EU to step up for the return of Armenian captives & POWs. Azerbaijan violates intl. law & we must be vocal on this purely humanitarian issue”, Mavrides twitted.
