On March 1, 2008, rulers of that time of the Republic of Armenia withdrew the army against the people and decided to shoot the citizens of the country, the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during the rally in the Republic Square in Yerevan.
“It is important to state that there are people, accused in the “March 1” case, who are on trial, and in my estimation, the case of “March 1” is revealed now. Many ask how the case can be revealed if the murders are not known? My assessment is that, yes, the killers have not been identified but the murders, the background in which it happened, have been revealed, and it will be open to the public during the investigation of the case.
The lawyers of “March 1” case uses all possible and impossible means to constantly delay the trial, so that the evidence of the case is not examined and not disclosed and many truths not become public. They obviously take time, because some hope that they can seize the power of the people.
The perpetrators of the March 1 (2008) murders did not target people with specific names, but the citizens of the Republic of Armenia, so that they do not think of having power in the Republic of Armenia. The perpetrators of the murders have not been identified because after the events of March 1, the investigative bodies collected the fired cartridges from the crime scene, replacing them with cartridges fired by other people in other places. In other words, the government took care to destroy the potential evidence of the murders. Why? We will probably get the answers to these questions during the trial of the “March 1” case. That is why the trial is being postponed,” the Prime Minister emphasized, adding that the same people are still trying to withdraw the army against the people, the legitimate power and the government elected.
