American Perseverance rover successfully landed on Mars. NASA broadcast live the whole process of the flight.
Jezero Crater, once being a large lake and later becoming a bowl of rock, dust and volcanic ash, was chosen for the landing. A 2.7-billion-dollar mission aims at finding traces of bacteria.
The US President Joe Biden congratulated NASA on the successful rover landing. Biden said he is proud of the NASA team and will congratulate everyone personally in the near future.
