Researchers of Innsbruck Medical University assured that people, who have already suffered the coronavirus, are protected from the virus, Euronews reports.
After examining the inhabitants of the Austrian ski resort of Ischgl, one of the epicenters of the infection in Europe in April and November, scientists have revealed that most people would still be safe from the virus eight months later.
Based on the obtained data, the team of scientists suggests that the development of collective immunity to the virus and the return toa former life is not a matter of the distant future, as skeptics claim.
However, for that they highlight the importance of maintaining social distance in some cases and vaccinating of 40-50% of the population.
