Armenia's economy is showing the first signs of post-crisis recovery, the Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the beginning of today's government sitting.
"According to the data of the first 15 days of February, 604 thousand more transactions were registered in the republic with cash registers and settlement documents than in the first 15 days of February last year. Money turnover has increased by 12% or about 31.4 billion drams compared to the first 15 days of February last year", said the Prime Minister, reminding that in the same period of the previous year there was no the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Prime Minister said that during the first 15 days of February, the volume of exports and imports increased significantly.
"The conclusion is that the economy seems to be entering a phase of recovery", said the Prime Minister, expressing hope that consumption will recover, as one of the biggest problems was the decline in consumption.
