Turkish sociological company “Aksoy” have published the January results of the monthly "Turkey Monitor" poll. The company analyzed the results among respondents over the ratings of Turkish President Erdogan and his potential rivals in the upcoming elections, ermenihaber reports.
Accordingly, the biggest chance to defeat Erdogan was given to Mansur Yavas, the member of the opposition Kemalist “Republican People's Party” (CHP) and the Mayor of Ankara. In case of possible competition of this couple in the upcoming elections, 48.5% of respondents preferred Yavas and 37.7% - Erdogan. 13.8% have not made a decision yet.
In the case of a possible rivalry between Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu and Erdogan, the picture was the following: Imamoglu - 44.1%, Erdogan - 37.7%, non-oriented - 18.2%.
