“Since November 23, 2020, during the operation, the engineering units of the Russian peacekeeping forces have cleared 1358.3 hectares of unexploded ordnance , more than 425 km of roads, 1292 housing construction, including 29 socially significant objects, about 24.3 thousand explosive objects.
In the course of demining and clearing the outskirts of settlements, Russian peacekeepers use modern robotic systems "Uran-6", which make it possible to ensure the safety of servicemen when performing explosive work and maintain a high rate of cleaning the area in all weather conditions.
Discovered explosive objects and unexploded ammunition are removed and destroyed at a specially equipped landfill. Ammunition that cannot be evacuated is destroyed on site with all the necessary safety measures during blasting operations.
In accordance with the agreements specified in the joint statement of the President of the Russian Federation, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, from 00:00 Moscow time on November 10, 2020, a complete ceasefire and all hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh were announced.
