Military exercises involving navies from 45 countries start in the Arabian Sea today. The joint military exercise was hosted by Pakistan, Tribune reports.
The United States of America, Russia, China and Turkey are involved in the “Aman-2021” military exercises, organized on February 11-16. This is the first time in a decade that Russia is taking part in military exercises with NATO member states. The last joint military exercises of the Russian and NATO armed forces took place in 2011 off the coast of Spain.
The motto of the joint military exercise is "Together for Peace" that aims to promote international cooperation in the fight against piracy, terrorism, and other crimes threatening maritime security and stability.
