"The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to carry out tasks on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.
At twenty-seven observation posts, Russian peacekeepers conduct round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and control over the observance of the ceasefire regime.
The ceasefire is observed along the entire line of contact.
Russian peacekeepers ensure the safe return of citizens to their places of permanent residence and the restoration of civilian infrastructure, and provide humanitarian assistance to the population.
During the day, 27 refugees returned from the territory of Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh . Since November 14, 2020, 52,415 people have returned to their places of former residence in Nagorno-Karabakh .
The demining teams of the Center for Humanitarian Demining are continuing their work on demining the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. During the day, 54 hectares of territory, 15 km of roads, 40 housing buildings were cleared , 22 explosive objects were discovered and removed for destruction . All with the November 23, 2020 from unexploded ordnance cleared 1296.3 hectares, 413.8 km of roads in 1242 housing construction, including 29 socially important objects, found and disposed 24249 explosive devices.
On February 9, under the personal control of the commander of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, Lieutenant General R.U. Muradov, another exchange of prisoners was carried out. Russian peacekeepers delivered one prisoner to Baku and five prisoners returned to Yerevan.
The Russian peacekeepers ensured the safe passage of 6 automobile convoys of the Azerbaijani armed forces. One column along the route SHUSHA - RED BAZAR - KADJAR and back, two to the PADAR region and one each to the MINKEND and PIRJAKHAN regions.
To coordinate efforts to prevent possible incidents in the zone of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, continuous interaction is maintained with the general staffs of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia".
