The Information and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Artsakh Republic issued a comment, stating that for security reasons, there is an updated procedure for foreign citizens to enter the territory of the Artsakh Republic in the post-war conditions.
"Citizens of foreign countries wishing to visit the Artsakh Republic must first apply to the Artsakh Foreign Ministry for permission to enter Artsakh. This procedure applies both to foreign nationals who need an entry visa and to nationals of visa-free countries.
The information on the applications is also passed to the Russian peacekeeping forces, taking into account security considerations.
After the applications are approved, the foreign citizens who have submitted an application are informed about it, who receive the relevant visas at the Permanent Representation of the Artsakh Republic in Yerevan, after which they can arrive in Artsakh.
The entry permit will be issued within 3-4 working days. Sometimes the process can take longer", the NKR Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
