According to the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of North Ossetia of the RF Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed to trucks due to the avalanche danger, it is passable for all other vehicles. There are about 370 trucks on the Russian side now.
