The Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan met with the Acting Head of the Yerevan Office of the Council of Europe Maxim Longange and the Head of the "Human Rights in Biomedicine" program Mary Katvalyan.
Maxim Longange inquired about the situation of coronavirus disease in Armenia, the needs of citizens affected by the Artsakh war and temporarily transferred to Armenia.
Referring to the war and its consequences, Anahit Avanesyan noted. "Both during and after the war, the Armenian side organized the proper medical care and return of the captives of the Azerbaijani side. Meanwhile, today there are still RA citizens in captivity and in that sense we expect the pressure of the international instances to organize their return as soon as it possible”.
