“The Russian peacekeeping contingent continues to carry out tasks on the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.
At twenty-seven observation posts, Russian peacekeepers are conducting round-the-clock monitoring of the situation and control over the observance of the ceasefire regime.
The ceasefire is observed along the entire line of contact.
Russian peacekeepers ensure the safe return of citizens to their places of permanent residence and the restoration of civilian infrastructure, and provide humanitarian assistance to the population.
During the day, 96 refugees returned from the territory of Armenia to Nagorno-Karabakh . Since November 14, 2020, 51,947 people have returned to their former residences in Nagorno-Karabakh .

With the mediation of the command of the Russian peacekeeping contingent , two servicemen of the armed forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan were released , detained on January 30, 2021 by the National Security Service of the Republic of Armenia in the area of the Teh settlement of the Syunik region of the Republic of Armenia.
On January 30, 2021, at the request of the Azerbaijani side, the medical detachment (special purpose) of the Russian peacekeeping contingent evacuated 16 sick servicemen of the armed forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan from the Vank settlement to Magavuz, where they were transferred to Azerbaijani doctors.
To coordinate efforts to prevent possible incidents in the zone of responsibility of the Russian peacekeeping contingent, continuous interaction is maintained with the general staffs of the armed forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia”.
