Russia is a key partner of the European Union, with which it is necessary to have a dialogue if the European Union really wants to become a world player. This view was expressed by the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Joseph Borrell before his visit to Moscow. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
He also noted that cooperation with Russia is necessary to have an opportunity to influence such important regions for the security of the European Union as Syria, Libya, Nagorno Karabakh, Belarus and Ukraine.
