The Chairman of the NA Standing Committee on Defense and Security Andranik Kocharyan mentioned during the parliamentary hearings on the sphere of science that during the soviet years we had a good scientific thought, good scientists in the field of exact sciences.
"During the war, our nation was focused on Bayraktar. Everyone was talking that the sky was not protected. But we had to think about it years ago, first of all bringing science to the army. Today, war has made us realize that modern wars do not happen without the involvement of science.
We are already talking about air protection, long-range artillery, and today criminal cases have been filed against people whose indifference and high levels of corruption have weakened our security capabilities.
