Commander of the Russian peacekeeping forces in Artsakh, Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov provided details on the exchange of prisoners between Armenia and Azerbaijan, according to the website of the Russian Defense Ministry.
Muradov stated. "On November 9, 2020, a regula-exchange of prisoners was carried out in order to implement the trilateral statement signed by the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. Under my personal supervision, as a result of the work carried out by Russian peacekeepers, one prisoner was flown to Baku by a Russian Air Force plane, and five prisoners were returned to Yerevan. Russian peacekeepers will also contribute to the smooth implementation of the trilateral agreement in the near future".
