The RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan said: "The volume of bilateral trade between Armenia and Iran will reach one billion dollars. One of the programs of the RA Ministry of Economy is to increase the volume of joint production and trade turnover with Iran". The minister made such a statement during a meeting with the governor of the Iranian province of Isfahan Abbas Rezai. This was reported by Pars Today.
On Sunday, in a meeting with the RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan Rezai said: "Isfahan has more than 10,000 industrial units, it is a convenient place for investors, and neighboring countries can use the potential of various industries in this state to invest".
A delegation led by the RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan arrived in Tehran on Friday to hold talks on raising the level of trade between the two countries.
