Lilit Makunts, the leader of the "My Step" parliamentary faction, confirmed on "Azatutyun" that the issue of her appointment as US Ambassador is on the agenda and there are such discussions, at the same time she adds that there is no final decision yet.
RFE/RL: It is reported that you have already received the approval of the American side and are going to leave for Washington soon to assume the diplomatic post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to the United States, which is a great responsibility. Can you confirm this information and can you comment on it?
Lilit Makunts - There is such an issue on the agenda, but it is still under discussion, when there is a final clarification, then it will be published.
