At today's sitting of the Government, the issue of approving the proposal to sign a loan agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) was discussed. The title of the agreement is "Additional Funding for the Disease Prevention and Control Program".
The newly appointed Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan noted that the project envisages the allocation of $ 7.4 million. Back in 2013, within the framework of the agreement signed between Armenia and the International Development Organization, funds equivalent to $ 35 million were envisaged for the modernization of Martuni MC (Gegharkunik region) and Vayots Dzor regional hospital.
