On January 20, the Foreign Minister Ara Aivazian received the representatives of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair countries in Armenia, Russian Ambassador Sergey Kopirkin, French Ambassador Jonathan Lacotte and US Ambassador Lynne Tracy.
Issues related to the post-war situation, regional security and peace in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict zone were on the agenda of the meeting.
Minister Aivazian, presenting the implementation of the ceasefire agreement and November 9 statement on the deployment of peacekeepers in Artsakh, emphasized the priority of full addressing of humanitarian issues, in particular, the return of prisoners of war, hostages and other detainees.
Aivazian also drew the interlocutors' attention to the urgency of taking steps to preserve the Armenian historical, cultural and religious heritage in the territories under the control of Azerbaijan in Artsakh.
The sides also exchanged views on a number of other issues.
