An online concert entitled ARTSAKH INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY was held in Georgia, the main message of which was to express solidarity with Artsakh and "not to forget the victims of the war", Aliq.ge reports.
According to the organization's founder Irakli Kakabadze, the event was a call to civilized humanity to prevent planned genocide, atrocities and wars in general.
Kakabadze said that the representatives of the Azerbaijani SOCAR company in Georgia threatened the organizers of the event in support of the people of Artsakh, called him and his colleagues, demanding to cancel the event. Despite the threats, the event took place with the participation of foreign and Georgian actors. A fundraiser for Artsakh aid was also held.
Kakabadze spoke about the threat of terrorism. He noted that the militants of the "Islamic State" terrorist group are constantly penetrating Georgia from Turkey, and as a result of the war they also penetrated Artsakh.
The Georgian politician admitted that Turkey and Azerbaijan are expanding their influence in Georgia's domestic and foreign policy.
In an interview with Aliq, Kakabadze stressed: "We are fighting for peace and we will not give up".
