In Artsakh, logistics specialists of the Russian Defense Ministry have built three block-modular settlements in Stepanakert, Getavan and Berdashen, in which about 400 servicemen of the peacekeeping contingent have already been deployed. Areas are currently being prepared to build 5 more settlements to accommodate more than 540 people. The website of the RF Ministry of Defense informs about this.
Block-modular settlements are fully autonomous facilities, which are equipped with all the necessary components of life support systems (electricity supply, autonomous heating, bathroom, water supply, drainage). The accommodation is provided with furniture and household appliances.
Block-modular settlements can be used both in low temperature regions and in countries with warm climates.
