The NA Deputy, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on European Integration Arman Yeghoyan made a post on Facebook, which, in particular, reads:
"For several weeks, the monopolists of the media field were stirring the nerves of the society with the imaginary topics of handing over this or that village, city or territory of Armenia to Azerbaijan - Tavush villages, Tigranashen, Meghri , corridor, etc.
As a result, what was turned out out? It turned out that the transport junctions of the region are being unblocked. In other words, Armenia and Azerbaijan mutually allow each other to use the transport infrastructure in their territory. Moreover, none of these infrastructures has a status different from the other.
The announcement does not even mention any kind of corridor, mountain pass or canal. In other words, the roads are opened on the basis of the principle of parity, that is, to the extent that we use their roads, they use our roads to the same extent.
Some will say that this is more beneficial for Armenia than for Azerbaijan. Some will say that this is more beneficial for Azerbaijan than for Armenia. Some will say that this is equally beneficial for both. But this will be a completely different conversation, which will have nothing to do with the media terror that has plagued our society these days”.
