On 5 January the President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan received the RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Mesrop Arakelyan. The Central Information Department of the Office of the Artsakh President informs about this.
Issues related to the solution of the social problems of the Artsakh people who became homeless as a result of the war and found temporary asylum in the territory of the Republic of Armenia were discussed.
The President of Artsakh stressed the importance of the social assistance programs implemented by the Government of the Republic of Armenia, expressing hope that through joint efforts it will be possible to create a safe social environment for the people of Artsakh.
The Minister Mesrop Arakelyan assured Arayik Harutyunyan that supporting the Armenians of Artsakh remains one of the priorities of his department, and the RA Government plans to launch new programs for that purpose in the near future.
