The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia informs that as of 11:00, on January 2, a total of 159,798 cases of coronavirus disease have been confirmed, of whom 143,640 have recovered and 2,836 are fatal. At present 12,635 patients are being treated for coronavirus. In total 596,416 tests have been performed.
On January 2, 60 new positive cases have been registered, 285 have recovered, 8 deaths. 540 tests have been performed yesterday.
2 deaths were reported the previous day when the patients were diagnosed with a coronavirus infection, but died of another illness. The total number of such cases is 687.
