In the first days of the New Year, the Russian peacekeepers stationed in Artsakh continued to ensure the safe return of the displaced people to their homeland. The website of the RF Ministry of Defense informs that in the first days of 2021 the flow of cars returning to Stepanakert via Berdzor has increased.
"After the restoration of electricity, water supply and important civil infrastructure in Stepanakert, the residents prefer to celebrate the New Year at home", the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement. About 47,000 deportees have returned to Artsakh so far.
