On December 30, the RA Foreign Minister Ara Aivazian had a phone conversation with the Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani. Minister Aivazian congratulated his counterpart on his reappointment as Foreign Minister.
The Ministers touched upon issues of bilateral and regional agenda.
Both sides stressed the readiness to make efforts to strengthen relations based on centuries-old friendship and traditions of neighborliness, including through contacts at various levels and the activation of dialogue.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Georgia also exchanged views on regional peace and security issues.
