Germany has decided to vaccinate the elderly first. The first to be vaccinated was a 101-year-old resident of a nursing home in Saxony-Anhalt. The Federal Republic has received a coronavirus vaccine co-produced by Pfizer and BioNTech.
The German nationwide vaccination is scheduled to start today. Apart from Germany, vaccinations will start on December 27 in almost all EU countries.
