The delegation led by the RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Hakob Vardanyan had a number of meetings in Tehran, the RA Embassy in Iran reports.
Vardanyan was received by Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zangeneh. The meeting was preceded by discussions with Deputy Minister Amir Hossein Zamania.
During the meetings, the issue of making changes in the agreements related to the gas - electricity exchange program was discussed. The parties agreed to extend the term of the project, increase the volume of gas and electricity. As a result of ratification, the Iran-Armenia gas pipeline will be fully operated.
And during the meeting with the Deputy Minister of Energy of Iran, the issues related to the completion of the construction of the third high-voltage power line were discussed.
