The Minister of Health Arsen Torosyan visited the National Burn Center, where the newly purchased ambulances are located. During the visit, the Minister got acquainted with the equipment and capabilities of the cars.
With the help of the state budget for 2020, the Ministry of Health has purchased 30 Toyota Land Cruisers and 10 Ford Transit ambulances. Another 15 Nissan ambulances were donated by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund.
In addition, 12 ambulances were donated (5 by Nikolay Sarkisov, 5 by "Mantashov" Businessmen Union and 2 by Webb Fontaine Holding Holding).
According to the previously reached agreement with philanthropist Nikolay Sarkisov, the mentioned 5 cars were donated to the Artsakh Republic.
The process of centralizing ambulance services will begin with the transfer of patients with coronavirus disease to medical centers.
