Armenia's economic activity index decreased by 7.2% in January-November this year. 1lurer.am was informed about this by the RA Statistical Committee.
The volume of industrial production decreased by 0.2%, construction by 11.2%, trade turnover - by 13.5%, and services - by 13.6%. A decline was also registered in the sphere of foreign trade - 12.4%, the volume of import decreased by 15.9%, the volume of export - by 5.2%. According to the Statistical Committee, there was an increase in electricity production by 1.8%, and the average nominal salary increased by 4.2%.
If the economic indicators have been declining for 11 months, then in November, compared to October, there are some growth trends. In November, compared to the previous month, the volume of industrial production increased by 4%, construction by 10%, trade turnover by 1%, electricity production by 1.9%.
However, the foreign trade fell by 5%, including exports by 9.4% and imports by 2.6%. The volume of services decreased by 2.8%.
