The ICRC Mission in Nagorno-Karabakh has recently assisted 221 families who have been left homeless as a result of the escalation of the conflict and have taken temporary shelter in 12 hotels, a university dormitory and a nursing home in Stepanakert.
According to the identified needs, each member of the mentioned families (741 persons) received food parcels and hygiene items from the ICRC. In addition, 104 kitchen utensils and 48 heaters were provided.
The ICRC mission continues to collect information from the local authorities on all internally displaced persons in order to plan further steps.
