Touching upon the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict and Russia's role in that issue, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said:
"This is one of the most important events not only in the regional but also in the global context. In general, I consider what happened to be one of the most important achievements. Russia's role is obvious. Like it or not, the world recognizes Russia's contribution and role. Behind the trilateral statement is a huge work, and its implementation is linked to the huge work that our peacekeepers are currently doing".
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry also sent wishes to Armenia and Azerbaijan.
"First of all, of course, peace. I know that when there is peace, many things can be achieved, not all, but many. Therefore, first of all, I sincerely wish peace to both countries", Maria Zakharova said.
