The specialists of the Demining Center of the Russian Ministry of Defense continue working on demining the territory of Artsakh. The engineering units of the Russian peacekeeping forces are completing the clearing of the northern part of Stepanakert. This was reported on the website of the RF Ministry of Defense.
During the operation, 260 hectares of land, about 100 kilometers of roads, 434 residential buildings were cleaned. More than 8.6 thousand explosives were found and neutralized.
The found explosive objects and unexploded ordnance are transported and destroyed in a special place. Ammunition that cannot be transported is destroyed on the spot, maintaining the necessary security measures.
With the help of Russian peacekeepers, the restoration of vital engineering communications continues in the war-torn areas.
