I am sorry to learn that my post about visiting Syunik has ignited certain passions in Syunik. The RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this live on Facebook.
"I want to assure you that my decision to visit Syunik region is not at all to inflame passions. On the contrary, I first made the decision to come to Syunik in order to pay my respects and appreciation to the people of Syunik.
The second, which is more important, to answer your questions, to look you straight in the eye, to give the necessary explanations. I'm I guessing what your questions will be like. I have a certain conviction that I will be able to answer them, dispel your doubts, and if I did not have such a conviction, I would not have made such a decision", said the Prime Minister. He reiterated that his goal was not to aggravate the situation.
"I am coming to talk to you. Please, I urge everyone not to inflame passions in this already tense situation. I will not look away when I talk to you, because I have obligations to each of you. I will try to show that I have done them and I do them fully.
I hope that our conversation will take place, because we can overcome this situation together. I want to assure you again that not a single millimeter will be conceded from Syunik region, contrary to the rumors and from the territories of Armenia in general. I hope we will talk about this openly so that the information is complete", said the Prime Minister.
