A three-day mourning period has been declared in Armenia and Artsakh on December 19-21 to commemorate our martyrs who died defending the Homeland. It is the 40th day of the end of the 44-day war.
Within the framework of the officially announced mourning ceremony, the citizens will pay tribute to the "Yerablur" military pantheon. The Prime Minister's decision to declare three days of mourning states that community leaders must ensure the implementation of the Law on the Armenian Flag. It implies lowering the flag of the Republic of Armenia during mourning days or during mourning ceremonies. A black ribbon should be attached to the top of the flag.
On December 20, under the leadership of the Catholicos of All Armenians, at the end of the Holy Liturgy, a requiem service will be held in the churches of Armenia for the peace of the souls of the heroes killed in the Artsakh war.
