On December 19, Chief of the General Staff of the RA Armed Forces, Colonel-General Onik Gasparyan paid a working visit to the Syunik region.
The Chief of the General Staff held a consultation with the officers of the military unit and the representatives of the local self-government bodies, discussed the situation and the further actions.
Gasparyan got acquainted with the concerns of the people of Syunik, discussed with the participants of the consultation the issues of border protection and security, the ways of solving the existing problems.
