The question is not whether the Prime Minister will leave or not. The question is who decides - who should be the Prime Minister in the Republic of Armenia. The RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this in an interview with RFE / RL, answering the question - whether it is not logical to change the Prime Minister in this situation?.
"The people must decide by their choice. Snap elections cannot be held only by my will and decision, an agreement must be reached on that", Pashinyan stressed.
RFE / RL - You blame everyone but yourself, after all, you are the head of state in this situation and you say you are taking responsibility. But you direct the accusations in other directions. What is your fault, Mr. Prime Minister?
Nikol Pashinyan - I say I consider myself the number one responsible, but I do not consider myself the number one culprit.
RFE / RL - Why did you escalate the situation in Tavush in July? Why did you present that small success as a significant achievement? Why did your defense minister talk about the "New war, new territories" formula? Why take such steps? , when the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces tells you that we are not ready for war.
Nikol Pashinyan - The way to avoid the war, in fact, was to give up the further status of Karabakh. The situation had reached a point where war was inevitable. We have also analyzed that it is possible not to lose, and if it is possible not to lose, then we should not give up.
